White porcelain stone is carried through from the kitchen to form a large terrace, ideal for relaxing and entertaining. Planting is deliberately minimal. Within the herbaceous bed, a range of perennials sways in the breeze - adding movement to an otherwise still space. Structure is provided by a river of low yew hedging, which runs through the bed. This is repeated in topiary form throughout the space.
